A late summer evening in beautiful Nordreisa, the idea of starting a country band grew. Agnete Båtnes Braaten and Rolf Amundsen are the new country duo, Beyond Rivers. With their harmonious voices and new-found country style, these songwriters are someone to look out for in the future.
Agnete has been known under the stage name ÁGY, and started making a name for herself with the song Hjerterått from the NRK series with the same name. She also wrote the song Arvedávgi which was listed on P3, and she guested Jørgen (Joddski) Nordeng on the song Gærnt med mæ.
Rolf is an award-winning composer and has produced music for various artists, TV series, radio channels and Rolffa, where he is also the front vocalist. Rolffa is known for songs such as Partyjoik, Toppløs and not least their version of Kaizer Orchestra's Hjerteknuser.
