‘Beyond the Blue’ is a collection of original songs inspired by the poems of best-selling writer Donna Ashworth. Written by two singer - songwriters Nina Blaszczyk and Phil Baggaley, the show is making its debut at this year’s Edinburgh Fringe Festival (19th-21st August). Nina and Phil first worked together on the theatre production of ‘Broken Instruments’ which was performed at the Fringe in 2023 and many other venues around the country including a sell-out run at DEDA Theatre. More performances of ‘Beyond the Blue’ are planned for the rest of the year with a return to DEDA on Saturday 9th November. ‘Stars’ is the first song to be released from their project, with an EP following soon.
