Bhvda Shermxn

Masilakhe Nogwanya, better known by his stage name Bhvda Shermxn, was born in 2002 - 11 -21 in the Village called uCentane,is a rising voice in South Africa’s growing XHOSATRAP scene. Hailing from a passion for music that sparked in late 2013, Bhvda began his journey alongside his brothers and close friends, forming a creative unit rooted in unity and authenticity. Together with fellow artists Keegan, Don, and Downy7380, they’ve been building a unique sound that blends Xhosa culture with trap influences.

In 2021, Bhvda had a pivotal moment when he met the legendary Riky Rick, who encouraged him to stay true to his path in music. That moment lit a fire that carried through to 2025, when Bhvda and his team collaborated on a track with Soul-t Idyan, one of the top names in XHOSATRAP. That same year, they shared the stage with respected artists like Inkosi yamandebele, B8SE, Camagu, and Elifa—the first female powerhouse of the genre.

With passion, persistence, and a sound rooted in his heritage, Bhvda Shermxn believes his time is coming—and that if the country hears him, the future of XHOSATRAP will never be the same.
