A rapper out of East Memphis, Big Moochie Grape makes music that relies equally on energy and intensity, spinning the influence of legendary players in the Memphis rap scene into something all his own. He signed on with Young Dolph's Paper Route Empire label in 2020, and even after Dolph's tragic murder in 2021, he continued working with the label on projects like his 2022 album East Haiti Baby and the 2024 mixtape Eat or Get Ate 2.

Big Moochie Grape was born Zequelius Davenport and raised in Memphis, and grew up taking in the sounds of artists from the area like Three 6 Mafia. He started making tracks of his own around 2017 when he discovered a studio where he could record inexpensively. He eventually established a style of his own strong enough to catch the attention of area superstar Young Dolph, who signed Moochie to his Paper Route Empire label in 2020 for the release of his impressive debut mixtape Eat or Get Ate. The tape was a strong showing of Moochie's specific brand of tough street raps laced with grinning humor, and he followed it up with various singles and appearances on other rappers' tracks. In 2022, he released the studio album East Haiti Baby, a 15-song collection that featured guest appearances by the late Dolph, Key Glock, and Kenny Muney. An extended version of the album with many additional songs was released the next year as East Haiti Baby: Incarcerated, and in 2024, Moochie released his next project, Eat or Get Ate 2. The mixtape served as a sequel to his 2020 debut and included contributions from Big Scarr, Money Man, and others, with several songs including features from Key Glock. ~ TiVo Staff, Rovi
