Formed in 2007 and based out of southern CT, Big Moon began performing their melodic Alt Rock music at venues all over the state. They released their 1st ep “Not Specifically but Basically Yeah” in 2009. In 2015 they took a new creative direction in releasing their 1st full length album “Last Night on Earth”, a concept album telling the story of an estranged couple searching for each other amidst the zombie apocalypse. They have brought their intense live show to countless cities in the tristate area such as NYC and Philadelphia in support of this record.
Big Moon harnesses the sounds of Rock, Pop, Punk and Prog, lending a raw energy to their live show. Having taken a short hiatus, they are back and excited to be writing new music and hitting the scene once again.
