"Sometimes the best bands are the ones who have spent years under the radar, quietly learning their craft and accruing the skills to pay the bills. Big Rolling Wheel are one such band: multi-racial, multi-generational, and multi-talented, and to call Big Rolling Wheel a power trio, or a blues band, is to unfairly narrow their abilities and musicianship to a far-too-small window." - Shane Pinnegar (100% Rock Magazine)

Life is made of ups and downs and the Big Rolling Wheel know that too well. The band was formed in 2013 but their band members have been playing, breathing and living music for a very long time. They define themselves as a Blues-Rock power trio and are influenced by the likes of Joe Bonamassa, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Derek Trucks, Joe Cocker, BB King and James Brown among many others. When you hear their music it is impossible not to feel that this is what they were born to do. With warm sounds coming out of the instruments of Joel Zig Faria and Henrique Leite and José Cordeiros’ powerful voice and guitar, the Big Rolling Wheel are here to stay and want to put portuguese Blues on the map.
