Based in Southern New England, for the past couple years Big Sigh have been making their mark on their local music scene. Mixing as many different musical styles as they could manage into one exciting and eclectic live show, Big Sigh touches on Pop, Rock, Punk, Jazz, Indie, Alternative, and Psychedelic.
Having traveled extensively between Boston and NYC, this past year the band was fortunate enough to make a connection with Alexandra Burnet of Free As Birds Records, and through that they recorded and released their first EP which was released March of 2022. Featuring 6 of their strongest songs, the EP was a fantastic introduction into the wild and beautiful world which is their music.
While their first EP was received very well, the band still considers themselves best suited as a live act. A recent live recording on their Bandcamp shows why. The blending vocals matched with a strong energy consistently pleases crowds all around, and through this, Big Sigh has brought their unique style to a number of festivals and DIY venues alike.
In Fall of 2022, the band plans on beginning to work on their next release. Claiming to want to approach their next project from a different direction, the band hopes to express their darker side through another EP.
