Big Zeus

Hailing from Romford, Essex, Big Zeus.

At the age of 13 I wrote my first bar, pen and paper days, recording my first "track" on Audacity with a pair of headphones and spat that first bar in a park in what can only be described as a free-for-all clash 2 years later. In those 2 years the only time anybody heard me spit was prerecorded.

I was inspired by the greats. Ghetts, Devlin, Chip, Dot Rotten, and Romfords very own Vapour. Vapour was a huge part of my influences coming up, we grew up in the same postcode and at the time I started writing he was booming in the underground industry on the local pirate radio Force FM.

I bought out my first mixtape "First Glance" in 2012 which was when I first decided that music was my outlet. I bought out various music videos and 2 other mixtapes in between 2012 and 2016, when in 2016 I decided to take a back step from music and "rebrand" myself. I took just over a year out and came back with a fresh new batch of music im the form of "Reborn" which was released on all stores in November 2017.

In 2018 I secured a slot on Fire in The Booth with Charlie Sloth and had a lot of support from BBC Essex with all of my new releases, and halfway through the year got to the finals of the GRMDaily Rated Awards. All of 2018 I was working on my album entitled "Zeus" which was released January 31st 2019, featuring some heavyweight names including Vapour, God's Gift and 2018 XFactor contestant Ricky John.
