The Bill Mike Band was a progressive art rock band from Minneapolis that served rock culture from 2002-2010. BMB played many colleges in The United States and started a teen empowerment series in Minneapolis called Rock For A Cause. BMB also charted well on The CMJ(college music journal) Radio Charts. BMB was nominated Best Rock Band by The Minnesota Music Academy 2x. Their influences were RATM, RHCP, Led Zeppelin, U2, Queens Of The Stone Age, PJ Harvey, and Bjork. Members include front man, singer, guitarist Mike Michel, Chris Morrissey on bass, Steve Goold on drums (2004-2010) and Dave Lewis on drums (2002-2004). They recorded 2 albums Better News 2006 and Truce 2009. They also recorded an EP with long time collaborator/beatboxer, Carnage The Executioner, that was only sold at shows. Performance highlights include opening up for Keane at Mercury Lounge NYC and playing First Ave in Mpls multiple times. Their song To Each His Own is now the theme song to the global podcast, Democratica.
