Billy Castillo

As a founding member of indie electronic pop/rock group Fear 2 Stop, Billy Castillo has been making music professionally since 2001. He first began writing at the age of 11 back in 1989, and was heavily influenced by videogame music. It was his discovery of the legendary Brian Wilson's music in 1996, however, that began shaping his creativity and eventually led to the forming of Fear 2 Stop in May 2001 along with his wife Dana and their friend Raymond Proseus , eventually being joined by then-ten year old daughter Jaymie Castillo in 2017. Despite having written and recorded over a thousand songs with the group over a 20 year period, Castillo still craved an additional creative outlet, leading to him starting a solo career in 2021 (while still remaining an active member of the band).
