Billy London

London aka Billy London is an artist, producer, songwriter and engineer. He has worked with B2k, Marques Houston, The Bahaha Men, Chaka Khan Xavier Amin Dphrepaulezz of Fantastic Negrito, Jhene and has multiple platinum and Gold recordings to his credit.


London's music is an eclectic fusion of Soul, House, and electronic flavors. His early recordings lyrically were influenced by the work of Marvin Gaye and the "Motown Sound". He was one of the first urban artists to be classified "NeoSoul" and his debut "My Destiny" is still a fan favorite. London has always had an affinity for New York House Music, and in the late 90's he began experimenting with remixing and ways to infuse chord structure with the high energy of dance and electronica.


CAREER:
London released his first solo album titled "Pure Bliss" back in 1998, which became the first release for his then fledgling label Blisstunes Recording Corp. Since that time, Blisstunes has released over 100 albums. Blisstunes artists span the genre spectrum from the Hip-Hop of E40 to the Alternative Rock of FETTERLINE and HEAVEN IS WHERE.


Throughout his career, London has generated interest in his keen engineering, mixing, and production skills. As part of the Platinum Status Production team, London helped shape the sounds of IMX, B2K and Marques Houston.
