On his releases such as "The Day After", "Nightmares", & "Marigold"; Billy Lowry sings & plays all of the instruments. His latest artwork on "The Day After" was made by his mother Annie & he is thrilled to include her art on "Rabbit Hole", slated for October 2025. Billy released his 1st single from band "Passive Panic", & recently played drums & bass for several NeverSayNever & Quizboy projects. He is also excited for 4 singles coming out in 2025 w/Jules Sherwood, including "Cross My Way" & "Burnt By Wolves" - which are out now.
Since the release of "All The Same Monster", his tunes have had a million Spotify streams & a million on Apple Music, and he's humbled by the results from other streaming sites. For his first album, he sang & played damn near everything: piano, bass, guitar, a ukulele, kalimba, ocarina, & even an accordion. His genre ranges from alternative-indie to prog-rock pop.
Billy Lowry grew up in Kenmore, WA where he first recorded himself on cassette tapes, beginning guitar at age 9. He studied music theory & piano at ASU, and was in garage bands 'The Lizards’ & ‘Nobody's Fault’. In Los Angeles, he was lead guitarist & back-up singer for ‘The Future?’. Billy toured the CA & NV circuit & fronted Arizona bands: ‘Dave’s Not Here’, ‘The Fur Traders’, & ‘Echo Junction’. He currently sings & plays in a local rock band "BeepBeepHonk" & a jazz ensemble "Beyond Broadway". He also teaches guitar in downtown Phoenix.
