Biodub is a german producer focusing on dub influenced electronic music.
Whilst his sound is rooted deeply in the "Basic Channel / Rhythm And Sound" universe, his productions go far beyond that, creating his own unique sound that has now been recognised by those that follow his music. In many of his tracks, biodub makes subtile use of acoustic instruments and field recordings, creating an extremely warm and alive feel to his productions.
Biodub is internationally known for his live sets, in which he combines
digital/analogue gear,
drumpads and effects to create new and updated versions of his own music. Improvisation is also a key part of his performances. Biodub has released music on Tiefenrausch Records, KI Records, Avantroots, The Moth Club and Acker Dub, to name just a few.
