Bionix

Bionix is the Psytrance project of Jean-Marc Segondy, a seasoned artist and sound engineer with over 25 years' experience in the electronic scene. His journey began at an early age, exploring synthesis and composition before fully immersing himself in the world of Psytrance. Having co-founded XSI and United Beats Records, projects that have taken him to some of the world's biggest stages, Bionix has since forged his own sonic identity, delivering energetic, dancefloor-focused music with a deep psychedelic essence.

Jean-Marc has collaborated with and remixed some of the biggest names on the Psytrance scene, including GMS, Astrix, Talamasca, Pixel, MadMaxx and many others. His productions, released on renowned labels such as Hommega, Phantasm Records, Sahman Records, Nutek Records, Dacru Records, United Beats Records and Iono Music , showcase his characteristic blend of powerful bass lines, complex sound design and immersive atmospheres.

Beyond his career as an artist, Jean-Marc is also a highly respected sound engineer and founder of 7Art Studio Mastering , where he provides first-rate mixing and mastering services to producers worldwide. In 2025 , he launched his own label, 7Art Sound Records , dedicated to promoting innovative, high-quality Psytrance music.
