Bongky, Indra, and Pay agreed to establish BIP four years after separating from Slank, precisely on April 20, 2000 at the Potlot reunion held at GOR Saparua, Bandung. Previously, the personnel who graduated from Slank had formed the band Sablenk (Saya Bekas Anak Slank) BIP's initial vocalist was Irang Perdana Arkad. They also released two albums, namely Turun dari Langit (2001) by relying on the hits "Skak Mat", "Aku Gemuk Lagi" and "1000 Puisi" and Min Plus (2002) under the auspices of EMI Music Indonesia.
