Bird, otherwise known as Brady Michael Andrus, is a pro-dominant alternative hip-hop and multi-genre artist who strives to make it as an artist who creates for the goodness of creating, encouraging others to create whatever they feel making. His first album mixtape, Opposite, later became the name of the movement Bird wanted to create for artists in Colorado with an experimental new sound. His second album, Andrus, highlights deep insight into his personal life and issues within family, relationships, mental health, and struggles of heavy inattentive ADHD. It also presents, through production, skills on piano that Bird gained after taking lessons and doing shows at The School Of Rock Broomfield as a child; additionally later on playing in the Legacy High School Jazz Band and being awarded an Outstanding Jazz Musicians Award. Later in life, Bird enrolled at the University of Colorado Denver to study music and recording arts. With studio access provided through school, Bird was able to mix and master his next album in a professional environment: You Are Crazy. This new album was a huge step up, also in standing up against previous problems Bird wasn’t confident enough to speak upon, such as drug addictions surrounding him through his peers, industry issues, and exploitation to sexual assault. You Are Crazy is the beginning of the Opposite movements commencement, aiming to flourish Denver with a new thriving community for hip hop, its own sound.
