BIRTHE

Belgian-based, independent artist BIRTHE (22) combines R&B/Soul with a touch of Pop, Funk, Jazz. With a background in classical music and a passion for storytelling, she incorporates strings and wind instruments into her songs and writes about themes as personal growth and self-development.

Together with producer OSKI she creates a warm and authentic sound. Musically she goes back to the essence of the 50s, 60s and 70s: live instruments and a minimum of electronic sounds.

BIRTHE hit the stage at the age of 14 and has achieved a lot since. She played three times at Gentse Feesten, on the Mainstage of Rijvers Festival, Vredefeesten and her own headline show at Silt Casino Middelkerke.

Since her debut single in 2023, BIRTHE has released eight songs. Her music received Belgian national airplay on Radio 2, JoeFM and StuBru and got noticed by HLN and Het Nieuwsblad. Somer of her songs ended up in the 'New Music Friday BE' and 'Equal Benelux' playlists on Spotify.
