Biscay comprise 4 jazz/funk/prog instrumentalists who write songs about the human condition set to a dizzying range of genres. Using a range of vocalists (chosen to suit each song), this is a deliberately diverse formula. It’s a formula which seems to work given Biscay have won 5 songwriting competitions including the UK Songwriting Competition (twice). We have 9 new songs due for release as singles from Autumn 2024 into 2025. The first of these is 'We Follow' scheduled for release on 3rd November '24.
Biscay’s first EP release was ‘Burnt Mementos‘ in April 2017, followed by a second EP ‘Stare At The Sun’ in March 2020. Through the pandemic lockdowns a further 5 singles were released, which have our highest streams to date.
