Bishop (formerly xBISHOPx) was an American straight edge hardcore band, formed in Florida in 2004. The band features current and ex members of <a href="spotify:artist:4z6EdG9lHbRCFE3Q6FgKxy" data-name="Until The End">Until The End</a>, and <a href="spotify:artist:0K4i9QDItJabGYMwquh4bY" data-name="Remembering Never">Remembering Never</a>. The lyrical content includes views on society, politics, and the straight edge. Originally formed under the name xDiary Of A Corpsex, they recorded a four track demo (which was later released as Bless the Dead in 2007). The band changed its name in 2005 to xBishopx and released their first full-length album Suicide Party on Ferret Records. The bands name adapted again to BI$HOP around the time of reformation to denote the change in direction musically. The band toured sporadically and released more records over the years breaking up in 2017. The band was and will always be straight edge. Following the conclusion of the band some members went on to play in <a href="spotify:artist:2J8wAtRvaaKOvwE9QDTC8J" data-name="Ether Coven">Ether Coven</a>.
