Bittah Dreamer (born Nicholas Frank) is an artist whose passion for music began early, influenced by icons like Michael Jackson and Chris Brown. At age 10, he discovered Eminem and the world of hip-hop, which solidified his dream of becoming an artist. He first went by the name Slicya (pronounced “Slice-Ya”), but after watching an interview with Donald Glover a.k.a. Childish Gambino—who got his name from the Wu-Tang Clan name generator—he was inspired to do the same, giving birth to the name Bittah Dreamer.
Since then, Bittah Dreamer has released two albums and three EPs, and has opened for legendary acts like Devin the Dude, Onyx, and R.A. the Rugged Man. In a bold move to evolve artistically, he removed all his previous work from streaming platforms to reintroduce himself with a new creative direction.
His comeback project, “Growth & Development,” is a concept album told in audiobook format. It draws inspiration from projects like 2014 Forest Hills Drive (J. Cole), To Pimp a Butterfly (Kendrick Lamar), Coloring Book (Chance the Rapper), and The Divine Feminine (Mac Miller). It’s a deeply personal narrative reflecting his journey, growth, and rebirth as an artist. “Growth & Development” is available now on all streaming platforms.
Bittah Dreamer is currently working on his next album, “The Ronin.”
