BKG
✦Reigning from Parkland Florida, Barbara, Kylie & Gaby, local teen performers & long time friends, decided to merge as a group when they realized together that music was the only experience that could soothe the pain, confusion and despair they felt after the devastating school shooting tragedy in their community!
Soon after forming BKG, titled using the first letters of their names, this vibrant trio of singer/dancers began sharing their combined passion to uplift those around them by performing for their community & beyond whenever they could.
Before long the girls began writing original songs reflecting their shared experiences which resulted in a special single collaboration with pop music producer Casey BigLane.
Proudly representing their family cultures of Venezuela, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic & Columbia, the girls began performing their new original song, FAKES, in Spanish & English gaining the attention of South Florida Hispanic TV networks.
BKG gave a stellar, harmony infused bi-lingual performance on Telemundo TV’s, global live show, ‘Un Nuevo Dia’!
The girls have since completed their recording of FAKES, @TruNoyz (Sept ‘19).
Barbara Rodriguez, Kylie Duran & Gaby Giraldo, ages 13 & 14, are beyond excited to be on this journey individually together as they carry on their shared mission to inspire girls around the world to be strong, speak up, remain kind and maintain originality no matter what happens around them.
