The band emerged from the ashes of several previous projects founded by the trio, Emil Vildalen, Andri Szarvas & Markus Slåttvik. After working together for many years, and in almost as many different directions. They eventually picked up two more members, Fredrik Bergmann and Heine Vidme, on drums and bass respectively, and formed Black Box shortly after.
With their playful, yet energetic guitar driven sound it’s hard not to smile as they pull the listener into a raw, emotional state that doesn’t allow for anything but singing along and getting lost in the music. The chemistry among the members can be seen as well as heard, both on stage and in recordings, and with an odd charm they connect with the audience on a personal level.
