Siphiwe September formally known as Black Cass was born in South African in a township called Sebokeng. Black Cass gained recognition within the music industry with his feature on the hit song "Ubumnandi" with <a href="spotify:artist:2I1KI8uFju21FNrL4zdeqY" data-name="Tshego">Tshego</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:3Px6IenueysHsgCQf9xFVr" data-name="Kwesta">Kwesta</a> on the <a href="spotify:album:5nqjH5Dwyb0kqpkazgHPN7" data-name="Pink Panther">Pink Panther</a> album. His love for Kwaito & Hip Hop led to his embodiment of his "North Pantsula" personality and sound. He recalls raw tales of real life experiences of growing up both within the townships and the suburbs, which he encapsulates into his music showcasing themes of love, the street hustle and cultivating dreams to reality.
