Black Corrida (a.k.a Steve Barky) is a post punk- southern rock songwriter from Italy. The Black Corrida was born in 2017 and it’s formed by Steve B., (vocalist, lyrics and guitars), and Dave Vaillant (drums and percussions). The duo is strongly influenced by mexican sounds, country and Louisiana folklore, mixed with stronger and acid guitars and synthethic sounds. Black Corrida defines it’s own sound as ‘Frontier Wave’. Lyrics are about Life, Death, love and hate, murder and sex, evocative places and drugs. The lyrics are simply about men, with their strenght and weakness. Black Corrida is produced since may 2019 by Mold Records.
In october 2019 Black Corrida was on "Day of the Dead Tour" with Nomotion in the Northern Italy (Trieste, Padova, and Bloom MI). Early this year will be avaliable a new EP and another Tour between northern Italy and Austria/Slovenia/Hrvatska. Stay tuned.
