Black Currants is a Finnish psychedelic rock duo formed in 2020 by multi-instrumentalist/vocalist Henrik Sundström and drummer/producer Niklas Finnäs.
Their unique blend of rock music and ethereal dream pop-like soundscapes with catchy melodic figures and genre-bending rhythmic ideas, have earned them a faithful and growing listener base, as well as a place on several high profile playlists and airtime on Finnish radio.
Sundström and Finnäs writes, records, mixes and produces all of the music and performs the majority of the parts themselves, collaborating with friends of the band for the remainder.
