Years after making his name as part of the <a href="spotify:artist:7oFtzqF5W7GEiJWZ59KyNC">Ballistic Brothers</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:1mlZXof4sEGLFspPzlQdFL">X-Press 2</a> (plus virtually all of <a href="spotify:artist:1EawON8MpqfiWNTQFM02wi">Black Science Orchestra</a>), <a href="spotify:artist:7gs54cZveSV3kraHmiGYDr">Ashley Beedle</a> began recording a proper solo project in 1997. With the help of <a href="spotify:artist:3JuhCZY5hWIzyj2jZpfvPS">Marden Hill's</a> Chris Bemand, <a href="spotify:artist:7gs54cZveSV3kraHmiGYDr">Beedle</a> released two EPs as Black Jazz Chronicles for Nuphonic Records.
