<a href="spotify:artist:0edE7nDWpjTcxe1DwFHDFX" data-name="Black Leaf">Black Leaf</a> is the hip hop duo consisting of <a href="spotify:artist:0FFsF2rUjbbmODKSo54EJ9" data-name="Jiyu Purp">Jiyu Purp</a> (MC) and <a href="spotify:artist:4uLIV8urPYao5BLHyweFkk" data-name="Fushou.">Fushou.</a> (producer) based out of Dallas, Tx. Fushou. & Jiyu collaborated in 2016 for the first time on the Jiyu Purp EP. Shortly after, the two began recording more songs together, developing a unique chemistry with the LoFi sound. On July 11, 2017, Black Leaf released <a href="spotify:album:5Dwba4kwt2bRPZ6BT7jFZ4" data-name="7">7</a> the group's debut album on Sunday Dinner Records.
