Derek Flager Jr. (BLaCK_NRC) is an American Hip Hop artist from Kokomo Indiana who currently stars in a TV show he created called "Canary Currency" on Amazon Prime Video and Tubi. Wanting to pursue his love for music, he began making music at the age 10 along with fellow
classmates and family members. He would write and write until he couldn't write anymore. He went all through high school wanting to record and finally started to record his music in 2008 around town with
friends who had the equipment and knew enough about the software to work with him. Determined to get his music heard he managed to earn enough money to buy all the software that was needed and taught himself to work the programs to sound professional while using the most basic equipment. In 2009, he wanted to expand and began a hip hop group named No Remorse and made his high school nickname BLaCK_NRC his stage name. No Remorse had 3 members which were childhood friends with
BLaCK_NRC and since then members have come and gone. In 2012 after performing locally around Kokomo and surrounding areas for 3
years and not seeing any results he linked up with CEO of NuORDER ENT, kCAne MarkCO and joined his self-founded independent label NuORDER ENT (NuORDER Midwest Music Group LLC). No Remorse since then has changed their name to NoREMORSE. Early life in 1993 he almost lost his mother due to a surgical mistake while she was
delivering his twin brother and sister.
