Black Ritual

The Ritual in the name here is certainly Black enough- a mostly death-core-centric blend of thrash and hardcore with the requisite ripped vocal cord emoto-throating vox. Their 2008 debut,1000 yard stare,was one of the biggest releases of the year,at least worthy of a check plus in the heavy ledger:plenty of that galloping,four-horsemen-of-the-metalocalypse riffage paired with a punishing -yet-nimble bottom end that suggested plenty of good things to come. In 2010 the band decided to part ways. They went on to try different avenues but in 2015 Black Ritual came back together because they knew where their best writing was done! Since then the band has Released to two EP's. In early 2017 they released a 3 song EP titled "Resurrection" defining the comeback of the band and in mid 2018 they released a five song EP titled "Red Horse of War" which has put them on the local Metal map!


Black Ritual has been direct support for bands such as Exodus, Corrosion of Conformity,
Obituary, Butcher Babies, Nonpoint, Joey Belladonna from Anthrax, Fear
Factory and Adema. The band has also shared the stage with bands such as Carnifex, Cradle of Filth, Skinlab, NeObliviscaris, Ikillya, Hate Eternal, Kobra and the Lotus and Mark Rizzo (Soulfly) just to name a few. One thing that the crowd can be
certain of is that they are going to see an amazing and unforgettable show by this band. Black
Ritual has created their mark in the metal scene and will continue to do so for years to come.
