Black River Union formed in the spring of 2015, coalescing around the recording of their debut EP “Silver off the Vine,” which released later that year to positive reviews and received air time on local radio stations. They quickly followed this with the recording of a single, “Walk the Earth,” and released it digitally at the beginning of the 2016.
On the heels of the EP release, the band spent the next year and a half performing in their home state of Connecticut and touring around the surrounding area, gaining recognition as talented musicians performing music just outside the boundaries of defining genres.
In February of 2017, they were nominated for best new act in the New England Music Awards.
Black River Union are in the process of finalizing their second EP, “Among the Faceless,” which will be released July 20, 2018.
