Punk/Rock/Metal from Freeport IL. Established 2013. “A three song demo was recorded in early 2014, which brought many local shows to the table. In late 2016 Blackcat recorded their first E.P. “Relentless” at Downbeat studios in Chicago IL. Gaining momentum,Blackcat consistently played shows throughout IL, WI, IN, MI and IA, . In 2017 they caught the attention of FX’s American Horror Story .Their song “Hellfire” was chosen to be in season 7 (Cult) episode 1. <a href="spotify:playlist:0ikUYuQD9uBA3K3hcMhj6N" data-name="American Horror Story: Cult - Soundtrack">American Horror Story: Cult - Soundtrack</a> This brought many new fans and opportunities for the band. After more shows and touring, In 2019 Blackcat recorded their second E.P. “From Here on Out” in Chicago IL at Electrical Audio studios. Striving for more, Blackcat soon began writing on what would be their first full length album. Blackcat Manor self released “A Shape in the Shadows” in 2023.
