Blackened

Blackened was raised by the end of 2013, formed by João Wegher (Vocals/Bass), Ulisses Nathan (Guitars), Marcelo Martins (Drums) and Fernando Schwartz (Guitars) in Curitiba/Brazil. In the same year a demo was recorded in 2 days, and released by the name "Third World Thrash" followed by a split album called “Together in The Circle Pit” with the local hardcore band "Emergencia". With upcoming songs, the first EP “Underground Attack” was recorded, at the same time Fernando decided to leave the band, then João Premoli joined Blackened, bringing influences that guided band's musicality to something different from the early days.
Underground Attack was spread and well received by the underground scene and took the band to starting tour around Brazil and signing with the German label Witches Brew Records (Toxic Holocaust, Gama Bomb, Deathhammer).
In 2016 the band started to record its debut full length, called “Truth Behind Destruction", was a year marked by lineup changes, Fernando left the band in 2014, after releasing "Underground Attack", João Premoli left the band in early 2016 during the "TBD" sessions, replaced by Carlos Knauber, who worked with the band playing in gigs and recording the album. The CD was released in october by Witches Brew, after that, Carlos had to leave the group by personal reasons. By the end of 2016, Di Angelo started playing guitars, since then, Blackened is working hard on touring and making songs for a new record.
