BlackSoda

BlackSoda makes a noiserock sound, blending elements of post-punk, indie rock and rockabilly with energetic and expressive guitars, a remarkable bass work and a vigorous drumming, forming a dense, thought-provoking and melodious sound.
Formed in October 2011 in Recife - BR, the band brings influences from other artists such as @blacksabbath, @tocotronic, @thecure, @avesangria, @sonicyouth, @pinkfloyd and others.
On their demo album, the band already featured post-punk and noise rock influences, but it was with the release of their first studio album (BlackSoda - Apr, 2016) that the band established itself on the local scene, bringing back musicality and the power of guitars and distortions.
They are now in the production of their second album titled "Não", where they intend to release until the end of the first half of 2018. This work brings a different work from the line of their first album, evading some of the influences of punk and treating more personal anguishes, with darker tones and melodies that make possible a "sound journey in the shadow of each one."
