Founded in 2009, arising from the ashes of some local heroes, BLACKWALL has evolved into a five piece metal band from Biel-Bienne, Switzerland. The band is influenced by american metalcore and european thrash power, swedish death metal rage and some scandinavian black metal brutality.
April 2010 marked the release of Blackwall’s self-titled debut album, features 8 searing tracks. In over ten years, the group has forged its identity through countless experiences and concerts in Switzerland and abroad. Several support spots for renowned bands such as Sepultura, Hatebreed, Sick of it all and Madball have considerably boosted the reputation of the band in the Swiss metal scene.
After several changes in the lineup in the year 2014 and 2019, Blackwall is back and released a new EP entitled „Crown of Creation“ in January 2020.
