Blaise Guld

Blaise Guld is an American singer-songwriter based in San Diego, California, known for his eclectic sound and heartfelt storytelling. Originally from the suburbs of Philadelphia, Blaise found solace in music at a young age, teaching himself guitar at fourteen and performing for friends and family. Music became his way of expressing emotions that couldn't be put into words, particularly as he navigated the challenges of mental health and feeling different from those around him.

After moving to California in his early twenties, Blaise co-founded the band Mad Traffic, touring the West Coast and sharpening his live performance skills. As a solo artist, he released Past Forward, which earned a nomination for Best Pop Album at the 2014 San Diego Music Awards. His latest album, Little Strange, embraces the philosophy of being unapologetically different — a love letter to the weirdos and outcasts of the world.

Blaise’s music blends indie, folk, rock, pop, and alternative genres, often reflecting his deep care for animals, mental health advocacy, and philosophical musings on life and love. Whether writing satirical lyrics or delivering vulnerable ballads, his songs are always honest, authentic, and a little strange — just like him.
