BLAKE BANKS, the man, the myth, the mullet, the Midwest singer/songwriter and all around American bad ass, (now based in Los Angeles has been blazing a trail in the industry and paving it in gold behind him. He is most notably recognized for his songs with Post Malone featured on his album Shameless, if not for his million dollar hairdo. From working with hip hop legends, touring with country stars, to rocking out with some of the biggest stars in pop history Banks’ music developed into a sound all its own that can’t be put into any one box. His music exceeds the expectations of most genres coming straight from the underground independently aiming for the Top40 charts. The King of Outlaw blends Rock, Country, and Blues together in a very Pop/ Hip Hop way, all while simultaneously layering his own homegrown lyrics straight from his soul with a Rap style that pays tribute to his classic roots.
Life on the road is nothing new for Banks who grew up migrating with rap groups around the midwest, touring with trending artists throughout his teenage years. By the age of 16 Blake was performing coast to coast nationally and internationally in South Korea and other countries. Blake packed up and left the Midwest in his early 20’s to pursue his passion for music. In 2022 Blake Banks released his latest album titled “Risky Business” which showcases his uniquely soulful sound that he has developed over the years in house side by side with his engineer The Ambulance Factory.
