Blaksmif, born Johnathan Fournier in Springfield MA, is a versatile hip hop artist. Originating from Makin Moves Ent., a respected promotional urban media and music group, He made his start in battle rap on dvds in 2007. He then followed up with his appearance on Fight Klub in 2008. When battle rap as a culture took a temporary dive he focused on music and was featured on countless mixtapes. In 2015 he made his return to battle rap with his debut on SMACK’s The URL, while simultaneously developing his tremendous talent for music. With his natural sense for melody, harmony, delivery, performance and style he has forged his legecy is steel. In 2017 he founded Smifhouse Records and now in 2020 he has added Slime Po (producer), Dtayls (artist), and Jillian Beth (artist) to the label’s roster. His recent project “Platforms X Trophies” has been deemed an instant classic by the streets!
