The Spanish singer, composer and multi-instrumentalist Blanca Núñez lives in Germany since 2003. Her yearlong journey of cultural integration is reflected in her music. Classical music, Beatles, Spanish-Celtic folk, jazz… form a large part of her sound’s nourishing soil.
For a long time as an acoustic pop singer/songwriter on the road (1st album „Cartas que nunca envié“ was released in 2012), through time she has found her way to a kind of Jazz. Since 2017, she has redirected the journey of her music in a new cast, exploring new sounds, listening in and following the trail of what she finds in her own silence.
In her songs, she builds lyrical-eclectic spaces in which her inner world and the sensitivity of her fellow players find a voice and flow into each other.
In her Spanish lyrics she processes her way, the essence of life, togetherness. The existencial urge to express and exchange is her engine. Her fuel forms a natural sound world with large space for improvisation. With her clear expressive voice and in the company of her first-class bandmates, she subtly and emotionally creates a powerful place of Warmth.
