Behind the name BLANQO stands a 29yo artist from Bad Kreuznach Germany. Early on, he realized that he was destined to make it out of his small town and into the big world.
At the age of 18 BLANQO spent several months living on the streets of hamburg city. Through street music gigs he gained himself an internship at a music management in hamburg.
Which brought him to los angeles the following year to persue his dreams. He recorded tracks with artists like Genevieve Jackson and Mac (B2K, Diddy), while working at Diners to get by.
At the age of 24 BLANQO was a contestant on DSDS (the german 'American Idol') and made it in the top 15. Quickly he realized that this platform was not for him and quit the show to do his own music project. He started working with producers like Xavier Naidoo, Banks and Rodriguez and started his Fashion line with ResQ the CEO of Live Fast Die Yound and toured with RnB artist Ryan Leslie. It took a couple of years until he met his new manager DJ Sadee. With him together he started his new career and had studio sessions with Juh-dee, Young Mesh, Frio, Kyree, Ghana and Geenaro. They started a new music concept which is called “Urban Pop Trap”.
In early 2020 BLANQO was signed by Universal Music. His first Single Huracan dropped in December 2020.
