Blazique

BlaziQue was formed in 2002 by husband and wife, Steven and BenniQue Blasini. Together, they write, perform and record all of their original music.

Steven Blasini has a rather lengthy history with original music creations.. back in the 80's... while working all sorts of odd jobs, he needed to flex his music muscle. Obtaining anything he could.. Casio keyboards.. drum machines.. bongos.. guitars... he would record his songs by combining two separate cassette decks *with Dolby C noise reduction*, and cable both left and right channels to the left channel of the second deck, leaving the right channel free for additional layers.

Not having a vocal booth.. he would use a large furniture carton.. seal it on both ends.... cut a hole at one corner.. and insert the vocal mike through.. to create a form of makeshift reverb.

Then came electronic music creation on computers.. and he was freed to have as many tracks and instruments as he wanted.

Later in life, he fell in love with the electric bass.. and is now a bassist at various bands.. but his love of original electronic music still prevails in his heart...

When he met and married his wife, BenniQue, back in 2001.. he discovered a KINDRED SPIRIT, one that was just as creative as he was.. and together.. they formed BlaziQue.

Currently, Steven writes the music, BenniQue writes the lyrics.. and together they perform, mix and master all recordings.

In their alt life, they own a Visual Effects Studio.. BFX Imageworks in LA.
