Blessings of Mara

Delivering hypnotic ambience combined with gut punching heaviness, Blessings of Mara is a British metalcore band hailing from South London.

Making their mark during the Covid-19 pandemic, they self-released their debut single, Cardiac, in May 2021.

They then made waves with their follow-up single, Thalassophobia, which was released in November 2021 and was voted #1 in The Versatile Virgo's 'New Music Monthly', securing a spot in her 'Best Heavy Songs of 2021' playlist.

After spending some time writing and recording throughout 2022, the boys came back with Fortune Teller, which was their second single to be voted #1 in The Versatile Virgo's 'New Music Monthly'.

Following up from that success, Blessings of Mara's fourth single, Voidwalker, released in 2024, set the stage for an explosive next step in their journey, demonstrating a focus on atmosphere contrasted by groove-laden rhythms.

2025 is set to be a big year for the band, ending the current era of Blessings of Mara and forge what comes next, which started with a cover of BLACKPINK's Pink Venom and continues with their new single, Obani Moons.
