Bleum is a pop duo consisting of producer Daniel James and vocalist/songwriter Brittany McQuinn. They began working together in 2016 after Daniel saw Brittany perform live. Impressed by her pop sensibility, he urged her to send him some vocal tracks. They haven't stopped making music since. After the release of Brittany’s solo EP, Bold (produced mostly by Daniel), they tried something untethered from each other’s individual identities. The first single “Lose You” was released in 2018 and Bleum was born.


Their song “Visit” was selected to be on Blundstone Canada's online playlist. Bleum’s sound combines elements of pop and R&B with dark, hazy electronic music production, creating an original sound that ebbs and flows with the seasons.


Bleum sold out their first headlining gig in their hometown of Fredericton, New Brunswick in March. After this, they announced they had been confirmed for seven summer music festivals such as Future Forest, Evolve, and Area 506.
