BLEW CHEESE

When you think of three chords and the truth, that is the essence of Blew Cheese music. It’s about playing fewer notes that mean more. Their lyrics are heartfelt and deep. The songs are simple - just a guitar player and a singer - but share powerful messages.


David Graham (lead guitar/vocals) and Chris Bokum (lead vocals) met in high school back in 2013, and their friendship carried on after graduation. It wasn’t until the summer of 2017 when things kicked off musically, as Graham and Bokum returned to Myrtle Beach, SC for a reunion weekend that transformed into something special. After four days together, the pair of friends rekindled their friendship and formed a brotherhood while recording four songs in Graham’s childhood garage, with a self titled EP later released as ‘Blew Cheese.’


Graham and Bokum went on to create ‘Blew Cheese II’ the following December back in Myrtle Beach. In August of 2018, Blew Cheese released ‘Blew Cheese III,’ which was recorded in New Orleans along with ‘Blew Cheese IV’ in December 2018, ‘Blew Cheese V’ in March 2019, and ‘Blew Cheese VI’ in September of 2020. In March of 2021, the pair released ‘Blew Cheese VII,’ which was recorded in Calabash, NC.
