Blind Witness is a Canadian deathcore band formed in 2005 in Granby, Quebec. They gained recognition with their debut album, Silences Are Words (2008), released under Torque Records. Their follow-up, Nightmare on Providence Street (2010), released via Mediaskare Records, showcased their aggressive sound characterized by rapid drumming, down-picked guitar riffs, and intense vocals.
After a period of intense touring, Blind Witness disbanded in 2012. They reunited in 2014 and released an EP titled I Am Hell in 2015. In 2020, they released a new single, "Force Fed," which blends elements from their earlier work with a modern touch, signaling their return to the music scene.
In December 2024, Blind Witness released a new single titled "At Peace," marking their first new music in nearly five years. The track was produced, mixed, and mastered by Maxime Lacroix at House of Gain Studio in Quebec. "At Peace" has been well-received by fans, with many praising its return to the band's earlier sound.
As of 2025, Blind Witness continues to perform sporadically, appearing at festivals and maintaining a presence in the deathcore community.
