Blixaboy is the Afrofuturist alias of Wanz Dover, a 30 year veteran of Texas music scene.
Dover started his Blixaboy alter ego specifically to explore his longstanding love affair of Electro, Afrofuturism, Techno, Comic Books, and Science-Fiction under one voice.
Building on the foundation from his electro-acoustic studies at University of North Texas’s C.E.MI.(Center for Experimental Music and Intermedia), Dover has explored a plethora of electronic avenues. The Blixaboy material has always stayed focused on exploring a cyberpunk ideology.
The first Blixaboy demos we're picked up for Mary Anne Hobbs infamous BBC shown in 2008. Since those demos Blixaboy has released 6 albums and various eps on distinguished labels like Concrete Plastic, Central Processing Unit, Fanzine and his own Stereo on Strike label.
