blnkCadet also known as “blnk” is a singer / songwriter and talented vocalist from the small town of Okotoks in Alberta, Canada. Growing up with a manifold of sonic influences, blnkCadet would first bring his voice to the music world in the form of drama performances in the high school he attended in his hometown. Not only did blnk quickly learn the ins and out of performing music, but developed a unique appreciation and skill for the art of performing on a stage as a whole which can be seen reflected in his performance style.


When it comes to major music platforms, blnk first got his start with the inception of the duo “Tokes” in 2020. With long time friend and frequent collaborator Alaunt, the duo took a new approach to the Calgary music scene combing a unique blend of pop, hip hop and of course singing through lanes of RnB.


The artist was quoted in a 2023 interview with EliteTyphoonTV explaining the deeper meaning behind the “blnk” artist name describing it as an open ended persona that anyone can put themselves into the shoes of. “Going by blnk almost removes myself from the equation of the art” Connor explained, “I feel like when you can separate the artist from their creation you can develop a deeper relation to what is being expressed and find deeper rooted connection to the music”.


In 2023, Connor plans to expand his sonic footprint through the blnkCadet name and hopes to help and inspire individuals through his songs.
