Block of Flats (Porvoo) brings together the weight of modern metal, massive pop hooks, electronic elements and dynamic arrangements into a sound built for both headphones and the live stage. Known for their explosive live performances, the Finnish band has taken their music from Finland’s biggest rock festivals to stages across Europe.
Following the release of their debut album No Hope For The Hopeless in 2023, Block of Flats took a major step internationally in 2025, joining The Rasmus and The Funeral Portrait on an extensive European tour.
The band is part of Ranka Kustannus and Backbone Management’s roster, alongside some of Finland’s leading international rock acts, including Blind Channel, The Rasmus and VV.
Now, Block of Flats are entering their next chapter, finalizing their second studio album. The upcoming music pushes the band’s sound further while staying true to the combination of heaviness, melody and energy at the core of Block of Flats. In early 2027, Block of Flats will return to Europe and the UK as special guest on Blind Channel’s Painstream Tour. With new music on the way and another major European tour ahead, Block of Flats are stepping into their most ambitious chapter yet.
