Blockboy K

<a href="spotify:artist:0EZDDS8dkONHD6HPRhTZAp" data-name="Kura">Kura</a>, previously known as <a href="spotify:artist:7pXggiSLg5llTeUp7IslOo" data-name="Blockboy K">Blockboy K</a>, is a 17-year-old rapper out of Detroit, Michigan. Aside from rapping, he’s been producing beats since he was 14 and is responsible for the majority of production across his 7 projects. He has garnered over 2.5 million SoundCloud plays and 2,500 monthly Spotify listeners all while recording and engineering himself in his bedroom. Kura began his music career while working at the well-known Bape and Supreme resell shop in Royal Oak known as Former Vintage. There he met other rappers and Michigan creatives who would help him get into releasing his own music and developing his social media. In July of 2018, Kura took his first trip to LA with the help of prominent skateboarder, Chris Chann, signifying the launch of his music career.
