Take a subgenre of rock, tear it apart, and put it back together. Run it through a blender of distortion, noise and apathy. Push it into your ear canal, and then you have the sound of Blondekant. The band, which consists of four young bohemians from the Tromsø area, plays a blissful mix of punk, post-punk, noise rock and psych. The debut EP "Duk" can be described as a collection of brutal lamentations, which progressively become more and more ruthless the further in you go. The text universe is socially critical, desperate and simple. The music consists of howling guitars, crackling drums, mesmerizing bass lines and psychotic vocals. The result is a deafening, hard-hitting, yet fresh expression.
