BLUE ACADEMY is a danish band which contains Kristoffer Kornum, 30, (lead singer) and Theis Lundgreen, 29, (drums).
The band was founded in 2019 after Kristoffer and Theis had decided to rediscover themselves again. They have been playing music together since 2005. They grew up together playing in the same school band and just found their melody. Since then they have been playing along side each other and been playing concerts all around Denmark. They consider themselves as a pop/punk act with influence from bands like blink-182, Green Day, Sum 41 etc. but with an upcoming release of 'Dreams' the boys are becoming more of an indie-pop/rock kind of act.
In april 2022 BLUE ACADEMY released the single 'Rescue Me' which became the bands first Spotify Playlist add. It's now 2023. Kristoffer and Theis has released the single 'Young & Dumb' which for them was a song that should represent a new direction after its release. March 3rd BLUE ACADEMY is releasing 'Dreams' which for them is a whole new chapter. The sound and the feeling is much more different than what they are use to write. 'Dreams' is a song that is uplifting with a spring/summer vibe and a theme about happiness.
